Bamboo Flooring - Installation

Bamboo flooring is installed in the same way as traditional hardwood floors in that it can be nailed down or glued down. The current product range is not really suitable for installation using the floating floor method but a new click-fit plank will be available in the very near future - contact the sales office for more details.

It is suitable for use in conjunction with underfloor heating and it can be used in all areas of home and business.

Due to its special characterisitics is especially suited to areas not normally associated with hardwood floors - namely bathrooms and kitchens.

It is harder than oak or maple and has a much lower expansion and contraction rate than standard solid wood floors. It is also stronger and more flexible than any other type of wooden flooring currently available.

As with any other natural product there can be slight colour variations, so it is wise to check each pack prior to installation.
